Zara,

You say that rythms of conga, comparsa come from Candombe ?

Is it because the Uru slaves were tranfered to Cuba ?

Can you say some more to us ?

I'm very interested about the roots of all this rythms.

Cola

Oh... the question of the bro Andreas is i think
How to apply Candombe on congas ? (Chico, piano, repique)

It is not that they were transfered to Cuba, but that some people of the same tribes also went to Cuba, the Condombe could be transfered to congas, the same way that Yoruba,Arara, and Condombe music was transfered to the Congas, the high-Pitch'for quinto',middle-pitch'for Conga',and the low-pitch'for tumba'.Saludos,Gerry Zaragemca.
