Those are the hands from the Afro Percussion trademark ( United States federal registration number 1832139) and the gold circle (United States serial number 73595262) owned by Pearl drum company, now abandoned. After Pearl acquired the Afro Percussion business, it continued to market percussion instruments under that name for some years. Thereafter, the Afro Percussion brand and marks were abandoned and Pearl markets its percussion instruments under the Pearl brand.
