I am glad you understnd my thinking.. :D

Also i have 2 j.c.r both have different souns...one is excellent for salsa, and the other dominican mahogany one sounds just like the bongos recorded for famous modern romantic bachata. As if they used that bongo for the recording, if i wanna do a bachata concert that ongo is perfect for bachata, but not the best for salsa...

Also if you are at a concert you cant really change heads in the middle of a song.
The only thing is that those hard cases, specially a double bongo one, is too expensive, almos a conga price.
However it really protects, and is versatile 8)

A thing to noteis the weight would be the same if not less than carrying a conga, and we all can carry, and have carry a conga to a gig.
It all depends on your love and commitment to the music, that will make you carry your percussions, even if the weight is a little over 2o pounds :wink:
