LOL!! leedy ur cold blooded bro..hahaha
i really enjoy the repiqueo that pablo shows, interesting that he learned it from the original Pan con queso bongo maker...

question- why is it that every bongo & bongo player on this forum just happens to be "related" to mongo & vergaras? (haha)

i dont mean to offend any1, but in that video Mr.Richard Feynman wasnt reall playing the bongos very well, i mean they didnt even sound tuned, hes just on there hitting the skins & singing or watever, i dont really think thats a "master"...
just my 2cents.

For your information b0ng0, I knew Mongo since 1968, we had a frienship for over 30 years. I was by his side in Baptist Hospital emergency room when he was pronounced dead by his doctor. Show some respect. I'm sure you never saw Mongo. No comentes en cosas que tu no sabes. Respeta.

B0ng0,

You just joined this forum less than a month ago, some of us have been here 10 yrs. "aburre ver fotos de tus Vergara on every thread". I don't post photos of Mongo's Vergara's on every thread. Estas hablando demasiada "mier..". Continue playing your Aspire bongos.

The very first three, a humorous take. Pablto"El Indio"Rosario a definite master. Here's another master who I admire and practice some of his techniques in my style of play. Mr. John "Dandy" Rodriguez Jr.

Before Omelenko1 I was Doctorumba, in all many years in this forum. Willing always to share my life's experiences with everyone here, willing to help and shed information to whoever needs it. Promoting always goodwill among the brotherhood of drummers, but when you hit below the belt with sarcastic comments, like "what a coincidence that almost everyone in this forum is a relative of Mongo", you just joined and you're probably a very young buck that is just starting out venturing on bongos. I was with Mongo when he passed on to a better world, to me the man was a great human being and probably the most accomplished conguero of all times.

Aside from Mongo's Vergara, these were Dandy Rodriguez bongos that I own as well:

1- 1948 Vergara that belonged to La Coja, Noro Morales bongocero, given to Dandy in the 1960's

2- Valje Tom Flores 1960, concert bongos. Very rare.

B0ng0, maybe you haven't seen these, since you're a new comer to this forum.
