Thanks for the compliments. Matthew Smith did all the hard work, I just did some finish sanding then used a natual stain to make the different grains pop, sealed her with two coats of oil based polyurathane Gloss. Its an interesting drum it was used as a show room model labled Selector on its crown . You would chose the would you wanted the drum construted from. The woods used are Goncalo Alves from Brasil, Iroko Shedug from west Africa, Walnut, Benge from Africa, Myrtle from Oregon, Black cherry from USA. It will need a new skin but even with the old one delivers great tone. I'm very happy Matthew Smith is a great guy who does amazing work as with all members I HIGHLY recommend him, he is a master craftsman in all aspects.
