YO BONGOCEROS/CONGUEROS,
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU GUYS REMEMBER THAT I HAVE MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY ABOUT GETTING A SET OF CONGAS AS A STARTER. I HAVE A DILEMMA HERE, I HAVE 2 SETS OF SOLID MAHOGANY JCR WITH 2 DIFFERENT DIMS ON HEMBRAS AND MACHOS. I THINKING OF SELLING 1 SET IN ORDER TO BUY THE CONGAS BUT I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE TO KEEP. TO ME THEY BOTH ARE TERRIFIC BONGOS AND WOULD HATE TO GET RID OF ANY ONE OF THEM OR SHOULD YOU SAVE $$$ AND KEEP THE BONGOS IF YOU WERE IN MY SITUATION? IT SEEMS THE CONGA PRICES ARE GOING DOWN OR IS IT ME?? I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT SETS OF LP PATATOS WITH PRICES RANGING FROM $250.00 THROUGH ALMOST $600.00. SHOULD I TRY TO SAVE $$$ TO GET A SET LATER OR SHOULD I GET RID OF A SET OF BONGOS??? SEEMS WHEN A SET OF CONGAS COME UP THERE IS NO $$$.........DAMN, DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. HERE'S MY SET OF JCRS WHICH I SHOWN ALREADY. MAYBE I SHOULD WAIT FOR MY CHRISTMAS BONUS?

Keep the JCRs - not easy to replace and each one is different - you will miss it.

Lots of old LP Patatos around - all the same - easy to get - sometimes very cheap

Imo I would trade one of the JCR. I like to take a different Bongó to my gigs every time I play so having two of the same takes away the show and brag. But that is just me. Juancho I PM you a few minutes back.
