Looking for a fiberglass conga

Postby seisporocho1 » Fri Dec 26, 2008 5:27 am

This thread is to let the forum know that I am in search of a fiberglass conga (11.75").

I have always been a wood/natural hide player so I have never owned a fiberglass drum. The band I am playing with is definitely in need of a louder drum.

so if anyone knows of a good deal or is willing to sell one, let me know.

I live in Miami, FL so the closer it is to me the better (shipping costs).

Thanks

Hi there

Patato models are just great.

They sound very nice and they do not have much of a fiber sound.

The bottom of the drums are narrower than usual and this provides them a unique sound.

Go for it.

What's up Louis!! Que se cuenta?
HA! Suenalo... what an experience
Yeah, Ari is the man bro. I played his patato at a wedding on saturday and that baby sang.
It's what I needed all along.
Of coarse, I left the Bill Confer on it instead of a fiberskyn....I can't bring myself to play a synthetic skin. It's like not connecting with the drum regardless of what you do.

un abrazo y saludos a tu nena y esposa
