Hi ! Guys !

I`m a new member here on this site. I know I`m a bit late... :p

but..

Can anyone please tell me something more about the PEARL TRAVEL CONGA...
I`m very interested in this product but I wanna hear some comments from real congeros.
I know that this isn`t a real conga, but I is it worth its money.
I have the Gio compact one , but I realy hope that this one is better...

Thanks

Thaks very much for helping me...

I saw the video already ( the pearl video, with R. Flores and so on...)

but wanted to know if someone has some personal experiences with this product. or even his home video
so he can describe me a bit more about the true differences between a real conga and the Travel conga,
I know it sounds stupid but still...

Anyway, thanks for your help guys... :D

Hi,

this travel conga is indeed practical for moving around because it is not heavy and comes in a practical bag. But be aware that you need a snare stand also to transport.
The problem for my taste is the sound. Slaps work quite well, but bass doesn't existe and the open tone is VERY ringy and hollow. Of course that is a matter of taste but for my ears the sound of the open is disgusting.
I recommend to try the thing before buying and then decide yourself if it is worth your money. If you are travelling a lot and want to practice the travel conga can be of use.
