Collection of licks? - How about starting it like for congas?

For congas there is a collection of notations of basic patterns here at congaplace. For bongó there are some cool variations of the martillo and then some licks. I always find very helpful to have a song where a new lick I learn is played. So I put the notation of some licks I like together with a link to a video where they are played in my profile here and would appreciate very much if others could help to get a big collection. I am not sure how we could make it such that everyone can contribute and it keeps well arranged. If we put it in the archive of someone here that person is the only one who can edit things, maybe there are better options, if everyone has a separate archive it is difficult to keep an overview. I had first thought of the archive of the bongo yahoo group but the founder started to censor me and sent me insulting messages, no idea what's got into him. One other place I could think of would be a wikibook. Any suggestions?

I think this is a good idea, and perhaps the fills section of the bongobook in congaplace could be expanded?

On the other hand, fills are very individual, on the second hand one bongocero could play some signature fill of his in many different styles.
I don't even know where to begin, yes maybe in bolero there are more triplet based fills, whereas in salsa most of the time it's about accented upbeats ... but still, fills are hard to categorize.

I think it would just be nice to give some examples of how bongo licks can be played in different musical styles. Of course this cannot be comprehensive, but it does not have to. In books often there is only notation and maybe an audio file where you hear the fill separately, what I find most helpful is to have it together with a song where it is actually used in combination with the other instruments. An example of a bolero with bongos would be this video of Los Panchos but I don't hear typical licks there, I cannot even really tell what is played, and together with the bell. Maybe someone has a better example?

There are a lot of riff as bongoceros,the platform for the basic articulation was in the (A Caballo) articulation,or Martillo,(as it is called sometimes),but since the early Sextetos/Era,the bongoceros was given free willing in the performing of articulation so there are many variations in relation with the style of the percussionist.Dr. Zaragemca

I wrote down some more licks, this time for bolero. Unfortunately, I cannot find any suitable youtube videos with bongo in boleros. Can anyone help so that what I wrote down can be followed in an actual song? Best I found was Adalberto Alvarez' A mi manera but that does not seem to be online.
