try to make fiber shells

After my traditionnals OAK congas, I want to try to make fiber shells.

Does some body has any info in fiber shell construction ?

Mayber, somebody in europe do this kind of job and could help me !!

Pearl fiber are seems to be in one piece, somebody know how they are doing ??

Hey Congalou,
I wish you luck with this project. If you can't find any drum makers with fiberglass experience, might I suggest you approach someone that makes small boats or canoes?
Many of these are made of fiberglass and have curves and complex shapes like a drum would need.
I do know from surfboards that fiberglass is really messy, the resin drips everywhere.
