Aloha Abakua,

I hope your New Year is prosperous with many Gigs also. Mahalo for the Slammin' pic's on how you guys in Aussie Land Bring in the New Year. Here in Hawaii it's a tradition to bring in the New Year with maSSiv amounts of fireworks blown up by individual houserhold members. We also have a maSSiv influx of illegal aireal fireworks that make it past the "gustapo" that light up the sky here.
As we say here in the Islands, " Hauoli Makahiki Hou"(Happy New Year)!!!!!

Keep on Poundin'

Aloha, maSSivdrums

Nsala Malecum! Aloha! y Alafia! Abures Mi!
I hope that you are all well and celebrating the New Year with friends, family and loved ones!

It has been, and continues to be a wonderful blessing to be "connected" to all of you great percussionists, both "new" and "learned" ones!

Abure Abakua! you have been a great "administrator" on this website, here's to your continued effort (as I lift my coffee cup!). Ashe!

To all of the other Abures (brothers and sisters) Ashe! Ashe! Ashe!

As Abure maSSivdrums so correctly puts it "keep on pundin'"!
Many blessings my brother!

May 2007 bring many new percussive experiences, along with financial compensation! :;): :;):

I have enjoyed reading some of the lessons posted, both historical and rhythmical by our well traveled brothers and sisters, please continue to share and educate us with your knowledge! I for one, greatly appreciate your posts, as I'm sure many of us do!

Malecum Nsala! Que Nsambi les acutare pa' siempre! Aloha! Odabo!

Respectfully,

Onile!

percussionist insect, or person?

Picture was taken in my condo on one of the four days during the holidays with members of our study group.
It's my sweetie who's going to quickly pass what I have painfully learned in 4 years of study in probably a few months...
Maybe the shades help...

Happy New Years everybody! May your new year treat you well!!
Big Love,
Dave
