Anyone have any cool bell patterns they can share for any style of music. Or possibly a bell/block combo pattern?

Deadhead,

There is a book and CD by Changuito, which has all the bell patterns you could wish for. A worthwile investment.

Quintana, Jose Luis "Changuito" & Chuck Silverman: Changuito: A Master's Approach to Timbales. Belwin-Mills Publishing Corp./ Manhattan Music Publications.

Try Googling it, sorry I'm not much good at links.

practically every rhythm for congas has bell and/or block patterns associated with it. Go to the Percussion Book portion of this website. It has examples to practice along with exercises. Listen to/check-out the accompaniment tracks and written rhythms, many include the bell patterns. Many of these styles and your slight variation/embellishment can be played over many styles like rock, reggae, R&B, funk, etc.
