hey i was wondering if anyone had any transcripts for the conga parts in any jamiroquai songs? i emailed the percussionist, Sola Akingbola, and he replyed saying that he would put some on his site sometime this year, but hes quite busy at the moment with touring and recording.

thanks alot,

Steve

yeah, thats what i generally do, but in this case i wna know exactly what he does- note by note. plus its sometimes difficult to hear the details in the percussion because of all the crazy synths and guitars and stuff.

Sola's a great player, but I always preferred Maurizio Ravalico (spelling) - who did the first couple of albums before it all went a bit disco.

Tasteful playing, and as the tunes have simpler arrangements, easier to work out what's going on.

Cheers.
