About me

Eric Hines is currently Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona School of Music where he is pursuing a MM in Percussion Performance. At UA Eric teaches undergraduate lessons, percussion methods, and coaches percussion ensemble. From 2004-2008 Hines served as Associate Director of Bands and Percussion Instructor at Los Fresnos High School in Los Fresnos, TX where he taught Applied Music, Music Theory, and directed the LFHS Percussion Ensemble and Latin Jazz Ensemble. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana, where he studied under William Moersch and Ricardo Flores. A native of Lombard, IL he now resides in Tucson, AZ.
