About me
I play mostly congas, have studied with other congueros and done some workshops with Spiro. I've been playing since 1973 but it doesn't show(still need lots of lessons!). I've played with many bands, most of them good, even sat in with Herbie Mann in 1991 and used to sit in regularly with The Lamont Cranston Band when I was in LaCrosse, Wis. My playing has been mostly rock 'n roll and jazz/funk. I'm still real actively playing but my main goal is to go to Cuba and immerse myself into the culture surrounding the drums. I haven't met a Cuban that I didn't like!
