Pandeiro or Kanjira

s'chopp, thanks for the info. I may get one eventually. But as of today, I am the proud owner of a 10'' LP Rio Natural skin Pandeiro!!! It just got in today and I picked it up about 30 minutes ago. Just started playing with it 10 minutes ago. What a great excercise it is for your forearm flexors haha!. I my grip will be amazing after playing this thing. I've honestly never been this excited to recieve an order. I've been watching a bunch of videos on youtube and I recently came upon a guy named Scott Feiner. Amazing stuff. I've already put the obligatory tape on the bottom of the head because there was ringing in the head, detuned it and I'm ready to learn some pandeiro! Thanks for everyone's help. Depending on how good I feel with this instrument, I will make a video of my playing within the next couple of weeks.
