Some pics from recent gigs - Busy start to peak season!

Hi all,

Its been a crazy last few weeks with me...
Rehearsals galore, gigs at festivals, clubs, tv appearances and more.
Mid to late Sept is the beggining of peak gig season here, as it starts to warm up through spring and summer. Ive fortunately been blessed with alot of work.

At one point was doing 4 rehearsals in 1 day and 2/3 gigs a day! Exhausted!!!

In the following posts, I will upload some pics taken from most the gigs, unfortunately I couldnt get anyone to get pics from the live performance on national tv, nor the seminar/lecture and performance I gave on afro cuban percussion at Sydney University (see drummers diary thread for more details on these!)

Below are pics from the Spanish/Latin Quarter Festival held in the spanish quarter main street. Pics also from the Darling Harbour FIESTA Latin Festival, others from nightclub gigs with my new band Ive just joined and been appointed as percussion director and co-director of the band (salsa dura style band)
I'll post more pics up as I receive them in email,

I dont normally play with this band, Im filling in - the guy up front on guiro is Laurent, he normally plays congas, here he is up front on backing and lead vocals.

This is the main stage called 'The Aquashell' during the festivals at Darling Harbour.
It floats on the water.
