Few pics from one of my weekend gigs.. - Cuban Festival

Hi all,

The 4 week Cuban Festival finished up this Saturday night,
with my band Armandito Y Su Mecanica we were fortunate enough to have the gig for the 4 weeks.
Another local band called Mucho Mambo, performed before us from 9pm-11pm then we took the stage from 11.30pm-2.30am, this was the format for every Sat night over the last 4 weeks.

A friend took some pics, they aint as good or clear as some of the other threads/pics Ive posted, but I thought Id share them, hope you enjoy.

Just out of shot here, on the right in white, is my brother Garibaldi, gran rumbero and former dancer of Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.

This beauty was just to the left of the main stage were we performed.. she is for sale and looking at offers of AUS 45K!
Completely restored, in mint condition, with a heavilly worked V8 engine and all the trimmings.

Kicking back after the gig, myself here on the left, with Max, another local great timbalero and percussionist. He just got back from living 5 years away in Japan and Colombia.

Heres me with long time good friend, TV presenter, rapper extraordinnaire, brazilian dancer, and host MC for the closing night of the festival 'Maya'. Incidently, Maya raps with my other main band. She's a beautiful person.

Real shame about the lack of clarity in this pic, here are my bass player and timbalero, brothers Steve and Cesar, the perfect deadly combination of our timba band and our other main band.
Do not let their young appearance fool you, these 2 guys are in the very top of their field, and amongst some of the most respected musicians in this country.

Hopefully brother Steaddy Freddy will be able to host some DVD clips I sent him of our band, once thats done, I will post em up on the site so you guys can hear our sounds.
