Hi,

hope things are fine and you got some positive answer concerning your drums! I admire your patience, I woud have written already some official letter like "if the drums do not show up until the 31.12.06 the whole thing is cancelled!"
There are other retailers in Germany like musik-produktiv for example who are better sorted and hopefully have better service. At least they show what they have in stock. By the way, patatos I have seen showing up at e-Bay regulary. I myself bought one pair of that kind of congas for a very reasonable price. They are fine and I love them but I would not by them first hand, I think they are heavily overpriced. But that is just my private opnion.

Best regards,

:p Amber

Sorry, not into Meinl at all. Could have bought any drums at the time that I could have been playing for months by now. Really wanted the LP's though.

Good thing I have my old ones to play for rehearsing and at gigs :)

That's more or less what I did - And it seemed to work! I know I haven't received the drums yet, but the note from LP tells me that they might arrive before Christmas.

Yes but #€%& Gewa is still the distributor, no matter who I'm dealing with.
Thanks for the PM btw! But if the drums actually arrive, the eBay deal can't beat the deal I got with Rockshop.

I received my new tumbadoras yesterday!!!!!!!  I'm so exited! (and I just can't hide it!)

Haven't had the time to play them yet - but tomorow I'll go crazy in the basement! And right after Christmas they will make their debut at a latin jazz gig.

I'll post some pictures of the new drums and my entire set up in another section soon! Stay tuned!

All is well that ends well!

Merry Christmas to everybody at the CongaBoard!

Yes, sometimes it's crazy...
You would like to buy something you even hadn't touched yet, and the salesman doesn't want to give it to you...
:) we are real tumbapervertitos!!! :)
