Fantastic!
Can't believe that had you guys get on OTHER instruments,, but hey, image is everything right?

There will be a Frontier Airlines commercial airing about the same time which was filmed partially at our school! A few weeks ago they came on a Sunday and filmed our kids shouting and cheering. It's about animals - of course - flying somewhere and there's a scene where children at some school shout and cheer about their arrival. That's us!

Abakua - that's awesome brother! Maybe you had mentioned it in another post, but I was suprised
to see you on strings instead of skins. Anyway ... that bass looks pretty natural on you too! Congrats!! :D

Man, I know what you mean about the coffee. We have a roaster here in town so it's always fresh. :p

Can't wait for the clip ... keep on drummin' !

Wow! long list of people to reply to! :D

ok....

Onile!
Thanks bro, hey, its a hard life, but someones gotta do it right? :D

RayBoogie!
Thanks again, the commercial will be played on all TV stations Australia wide and in New Zealand, negotiations are under way for screening in the US and the UK, personally I hope it does over there that way I get my royalties payments!!

Windhorse!
Yeh, it was all about "looks", they felt I looked like a bass player so they stuck me on bass lol. My band was a bit upset they didnt get it, but are happy I got in, even if its not me on congas during the ad, though I will be going into the studio to record congas for the audio you hear during the ad.

Rumbaman!
Hey bro, yeh, I wanted to be on congas, but like I said to Windhorse, they ended up choosing me for their bass player based on 'image'. Still had fun doing it though, and if someone wants to pay me $2K to hold a bass during an ad, I aint gonna complain about it!!! hehehe.

Gilbert!
Thanks dude, I dont think the ad you speak of aired here in Australia. Good work nonetheless.

Diceman!
If you do end up losing me to Hollywood, its ok, I will always remember the little people I had to step on to get to where I am! hahahaha jokes brother!

Captainquinto!
Yeh bro, on bass instead of congas, I covered that in my reply to some of the other guys just above...
I play a little bass, but nowhere near enough to call myself a bass player. It was alot of fun doing the ad nonetheless!

Cheers!

Saludos, it is always good to have those experiences in the entertainment business,(the pictures remind me when I was working for Universal Studios in California),there is not reason to feel back,(sometime there are people in some shootings which are not even musicians),it is all up to the Production/Team,but when somebody have the opportunity to be in any production, it is something which could be capitalized for the press/kit of the musician, and sometime the connection which be obtained at the first job, could take a person to more opportunities in that respect, keep it in a possitive way..Dr. Zaragemca
