Hello everyone! This is a simple short thread to say Thank you to everyone who gave me inputs on my first solo attempt.

Special thanks to Tony (onile), Marcelo (abakua), and Mike (congamyk) for the extra mile instruction via PM.

Tony, the DVDs arrived and I am slowly pouring over them...thank you.

Marcelo, I know how utterly busy you are and eagerly await your word on the stuff you PM'd me about, at your convenience, for my shipping costs (you are quite some distance away!), etc.

Mike, I'm talking to my friend in the band to see if he would like to make a trip up there with me and watch/listen/learn a little conga jamming too...he is a guitarist, so he could broaden his horizons if you didn't mind. That will be the closest thing to one on one instruction for me so far when I get up there to meet you. After 8 years of trumpet lessons early in life...I do appreciate the value of that.

You guys have been fantastic to do all this, and I just wanted to say thanks.

God bless!

-Ron :)

Alafia Abures!
I hope that you are all well and in an abundance of blessings!

Ron, your appreciation is heartfelt and genuine, that is enough for us I'm sure.

Remember however, that along your climb up the preverbial ladder of skill development, you should reach back and bring someone up with you!

Many blessings!

Onile!
