My newest Ashiko /Bugarabu or whatever you want to call it.
11 inch head x 28 inch high. I used 18 Poplar Staves, TiteBond III glue,stained and 3 coats of Polyurethane.
Poplar seems to be a decent tradeoff for cost vs Oak, Ash, etc. It's obviously not as hard as those other woods,
but it looks decent and sounds great (with good skins and tuning). This one is going to get thin cowhide.
