I have been trying to send PM's but it seems that they don't get out of my in box.
After I hit send on the message, it tells me that it was sent successfully, but when I look at my sent box, it doesn't appear, it appears in my out box, and doesn't make it beyond that?

No worries, this is normal. That prompt will disappear when your message is read by the other person
