Hello Long time no see! about 2 years.

I own one of these Lp palisades NJ Timbales ,they are stainless steel, i read a vintage LP ad(1970's) where it features these timbales , The cascara is waaaaayyyy DRIER than the new ones, good for recording, the sustain is longer.

cuquito717,

I visited your MySpace website earlier and I must say that your collection, particularly timbales and bongos, is simply awesome! I've never seen pictures of some many Leedys in my life!

You also have other brands of timbales: Gon Bops, vintage LP, etc. Not to mention your wide variety of bongos, some bells and some congas,

My own very small collection consists of: JCR (stainless steel), Gon Bops Alex Acuna (brass alloy) and Meinl Luis Conte (brass).

All the best,

For those who are interested, there is an LP Palisades Park timbales set at German ebay.
