Until now, I knew the title "Sun Sun Babae" only from the "Havana Jam" Live Sampler (1979).
The Chachálokpafún on this one is pretty much on the 6/8 side for a Havana style ensemble.
The guys are improvising on the batá in "Babalú"! Also, this is the second example which shows that for Giraldo and his men, Rumba Obatala is the appropriate batá rhythm to replace Afro, more than any other batá rhythm - the other example being "Drume Negrita" on the "Afro Tambores Bata" record.
