LP Bongo Information

Postby jimmorgan » Thu Oct 09, 2014 2:29 pm

I'm new to the world of percussion, been playing for about a year on a set of black LP Pallisade Park congas. I saw this pair of beat up bongos online for next to nothing and couldn't resist, as they match the congas I've already got. I know little about bongos. Any information about these? They appear to be fiberglass construction, and I assume they will need new heads when I get them. Label says made in Garfield, NJ.

Edit: Whoops, should probably attach the actual photo...

Yes, fiberglass LP bongos. The heads do not look too worn out, they seem to be
in good shape. Replacing the heads is entirely up to you. I think the shells and
hardware can use a good cleaning.
