Walnut SOS Bongo

I just wanted to thank Jay again for this fantastic instrument!!

I got them back in 2010, along with several congas (that I love) and have slowly been working up my technique on them. Something happened recently, sort of like I crossed an ability threshold. I feel the need to use expletives to describe the experience, but will refrain on the public forum  These drums just scream, so much dynamic contrast, from high "pings" to deep thuds and everywhere in between. From super quiet, yet clear and articulate to screaming loud with cracks and slaps. I had no idea a bongo could do all that, and I just keep coming back to play them again and again.

Jay, you will be a friend forever - even if we never met. I had no idea I could love playing the bongo's so much!!! Your artistry will be forever missed! I hope retirement brings you peace and happiness :D
