Saludos & happy hollidays to all. Just got my present in the mail today. :D A beautiful new HR El Piernas Bongó, was a long wait since August 15 when was order but finally is here. This completes the number 7 in my arsenal of working Bongos. As you can see the interior is not finish and you can see how the staves are bond to each other. Purple on the bottom ,natural wood color on top, the wood is call egg shell & is not as heavy like guayacan. All details on this Bongó were my choice as I wanted something different.

Alright, El Piernas passed the evaluation with flying colors, excellent volume projection, high pitch from the Macho & a tight deep bass from the Hembra. :D

Beautifu!!!! Congratulations. I doubt that this will complete your set. As you well know, WE ALL have a sickness :( , and we must be honest and confess that WE ARE "Conga/Bongo" Junkies  , we can NEVER have enough drums  .
Just look at ABAKUA, he falls for it every time

You are right King. There is always that desire to buy ,order ,sell & buy another . To me this one is a must to have since I sold the other previous two. It is lighter than the others and have a very dry sound to start but he will get better as time age the skins. One thing good about this Bongó is that only cost $250, not as with others that cost double. Also was made to my specs.

Cuidate y hablamos.....

Jorge.
