Yes, at http://www.picadillo.com

Go to Matthew's bongo page.

These solos are absolutely mind-blowing, from Mongo, Armando Peraza, and others! Many are extremely rare recordings, indeed privately-owned tapes!

I have seen Mongo on bongo,Candido on bongo, but for me Armando Peraza is in a class all by himself, just in style alone, never mind his intense "repique" and solos. Cal Tader's Mas Ritmo Caliente one and two is a "smoker" with Armando on it....check it out!......At yaour Service...JC JOHNNY CONGA.... ;)

Mongo,Armando,Candido are all amazing, but the "Cuban Bongo King" according to many, including Cachao, who played with them all, was Rogelio Iglesias "Yeyito".Check out his licks and solos on the Cachao descargas CD's.

The Mongo bongo slap is the loudest slap I have ever heard!!

Armando Peraza I must say is One Bad MoFo. I really never heard him play before picadillo.com, but I will be searching for cd's that he's on. I need some recommendation?
