Pearl Elite Folkloric Bongoceros please read this

Hello,

I received my lovely Folkloric bongos in the post yesterday and I am not positive that the original skins are on the drums. I'd really appreciate if those of you who still have them could post up some pics of yours so that I can compare.

Also, the skin on the hembra seems quite stretched on one side so that the gold-ish hardware beneath is visible. Is this normal.

Still very, very much a novice so your help is greatly appreciated!

I'll post pictures up at the weekend...my camera is out of action until then.
