I used to have Supercussion bongó and also a Matador,
but sold them both.

Now I own "just" 3, but they are more than enough for my lifetime::

LP mahogany
LP zebra wood
Raúl

Love them!

1st ever bongo and the drum that got it all started for me over 20 years ago: Mexican type bongo, tacked heads, tuned by fire/heat. (still own it, will never sell it!)

2nd bongo: LP Fiberglass black bongo - sold

3rd bongo: Matador old school trad hardware wood bongo with upgraded heads. - long since sold

Including my first bongo, and the 3 below, I own 4 at the moment.

LP Generation III - current battle weapon for my bongo gigs

For keeping and collecting: Original 1970's vintage 5 key Gon Bops bongo & LP 45th Anniversary bongo.

I own and still have eight in my inventory.
Mattew Smith (Ritmo Studios)-Cherrywood
Resolution Valje-Bloodwood
Carribean Rhythms-Mahogany solid shell
El Piernas-Palo Santo
Dandy LP-European Beechwood
SOS-Black Walnut
Juan Figueroa-Oak
Moperc-Ash
My number 1 overall it's a tie between the Resolution Valje and Matthew Smith's Ritmo Studio. Kickass sound! Arranca Damas y Caballeros!
