Beware Not LP Not Zebrawood

If your referring about the LP Valjes and Dandy's I love them both. The Dandy's have a thick L&H mule on the hembra and a Remo fiberskyn 3 tucked head on the Macho. The Stock buffalo heads from LP that came with the Dandys are a vast improvement in sound not bad at all, but I opted to replace them with L&H and Remo drumheads. MY old LP Valjes were refitted with the Remo Fiberskyns as well. I never did like the heads that came with that set when I bought them from Casa Latina in "El Barrio" back in '95 although they are one of my favorites because they are extremely light in weight compared to the Dandys which come in @ 10.5lbs. The Valjes are just about 1.5lbs lighter.

Cuco, those vintage Valje bongos at the bottom with the yellow rubber tips were mine, I had Junior make the center piece for them. I sold them to a doctor in Michigan and you got them from him. They were very light and sounded good.
