What's the best prevention against paper-cut like injuries?

Good post, sound advice & great list break-down on the subjects I had in question.You must have been reading my mind with the microphone suggestion for I plan to obtain 2 Shure M57 model mic's for my home setup. I will take into consideration everyone's advice that responded to this topic for it is a concern of many and I know there are quite a few who encounter these problems while playing as I've recently had .
