In a comparison test, which set between the Timbas del Valle or the Salsa Club Series Mopercs that you own would give you the best or loudest projection? In addition are the Timbas del Valle a solid shelled set? Thank you in advance for you reply. Jorge.

Saludos Rumberos ,I can not said which one is better than the other. Also every Bongó has his own particular sound. This 2 are both cilindrical, same wood thickness and height ,the moperc hembra is 8.5 the Timbas is 8 3/4 and different woods so that is where the sound may change a bit . The Moperc, I have use it for both indoor and outdoor gigs,no problem, good highs and mellow tones easy cut thru the music in a full salsa band. The Timbas Del Valle I use it last Saturday for a rehearsal in a Tumbao Style Conjunto and the Conguero was telling me about the sweet sound coming out. So there is not much difference between them, just good old school sound. Only big difference is their age 11 years old to 2 months old.
