The rythms of the afro-cuban folklore

Hello everyone,

My new method book should be released soon. This book features the Afro-Cuban catalog and covers a wide range of those rhythms. The rhythms include their basis, numerous developments and the improvisation for every style.

The approached instruments are: tumbadoras, chekeres, bells, clave, bombo, snare...

This volume covers the following rhythms: Bembe, Iyesa, palo, yuka, macuta, garabato, arara, bricamo, abakua, yambu, guaguanco, columbia, guarapachangueo, conga, mozambique...

A long chapter is dedicated to the work made on the quinto, the improvising rumba and carnival drum.

The DVD (audio only) that comes with this book is intended to let you practice along with it.

I might like one regardless of the language,, as I'm sure the notation is something that's universal.. :O

works for me -- is the pressionado a muffled tone?
- and I assume the spacing is standard 8th notes in a measure, using 8th, 1/4, & 1/2 rests?
