Beautiful! Do you steam bend the staves or cut the form from thicker blocks of wood?
Am trying to build some in the near future

Wow, those look great! Beautiful wood, beautiful shape! I would really like to build a conga myself, but have a lot to learn first. How do you shape the staves? I would think a router and a template (?). Do you have photos of the work in progress? I'd be very interested! Cheers
