My best sounding drum is my Moperc Salsa Club Series Quinto.
I call it "The Chosen One."

I thought the subject line read "Your best sounding drum", meaning a single drum. But since other before posted more than one I will take the same liberty. I have a bunch of drums but when it comes to best all around drums many of you know Junior Tirado craft. My Junior's are always ready to be played they are my go to drums, when I'm feeling nostalgic, after a few drinks, when I'm going to a rumba, practice, for any type of gig, you guys catch my drift. Out of my three Juniors my first one is the dark one and is my favorite, its the oldest also. I belive the wood as it ages gains better tonality I can't explain why just my opinion. I dressed them up for the photo with thier belts and on the Tumba I put her bells on also.

That's what it means, but you know....

It's awesome that these Juniors are your "go to" drums. I think a lot of people would baby them and never let them outside of the house. I like how you have the full range of "colors" in your set.

Saludos Congaplace!

This is the best sounding drum I own, it is a spalted sycamore tumba with malachite stone inlay. Unfortunately it's out of my house for a couple months in an art exhibition and the curator of the gallery isn't ecstatic when I go in to visit and play it. When I get her back though, she will have 4 sisters to play with!
