Finally here  !! All I can say is wow  What hardware :D What Cueros (skins) they are soooooo thick. Man I'm on cloud nine. They sound incredibly good right out of the box. What truly surprises me is the weight, the 13" Tumba only weighs 26.5 Lbs, and man much easier to haul arround than my Remos :D .

Thank all of you for your support. I really am enjoying these tumbadoras they are the bomb. I took them to church Saturday morning for choir practice and they sound totally different than they did at home, I believe that the reason for that is my hardwood oak floor. Once tuned I tuned them I went at it and wow! I just could not get over how good they sound. They are a little smaller than I expected, diameter and height, but the rest was just what I expected. Well Thank you all again for sharing my new joy, bendiciones

King, Those are beautiful drums!!!

Can you describe the difference you noticed in the sound between your hardwood floors and the church? Was the church on carpet, just a bigger room, etc.. Thanks, just curious... and man those are sweet..

I believe the difference comes from the fact that I have hardwood floors throughout the my house, this produce’s an echo sound affect, what doesn’t help is the drum’s being very to close to the wall, at church it's very open and the drums are on Gibraltar floor stands which rest on carpet and like I mentioned, in this setting the sound is incredibly good. This is the case with my other set of Congas, at home they sound just a little ringi, echoi, for lack of better word, but they sound great in the open. Hope that helps.
P.S. Thanks for the kind words JimG :D
