Hello people.
I just bought a set of sennheiser E604 mics for my LP classic congas. Much to my dismay the clips will not work on my rims! they work fine on my matadors but not on the comfort curve.
I have also tried the LP claw to no avail. Does anybody know how I can mount these mics on my LP classic rims without having to use a half roll of gaff tape.
Thanks
Smitty

Instead of gripping the rim, can you not grip one of the lugs?
I use "The Claw" (LP) and it grips perfectly onto the lug.
Try that, see how you go. :)

That is absolutely what I need! I messed around with the LP claw on the lugs and was never really comfy with it. It also looks like I can keep it up and back off the head the way I want it. I'm gonna go to the store and check em out.
Thanks for all the info
