Shure SM57

Yesterday I bought myself a shure sm 57 microphone for my percussion set:) It cost me about 100$, havent gotten the time or option to try it out yet, since i havent got any amplifier myself. Tomorrow ill connect it to my friends new PA so we'll see how it sounds:) I'm really excited:P
Anyone of u got some experience of this microphone and want to give some tip or just say what you think of it?.
