"I think I may give it a light Manteca treatment, due to the skin is rather dry. Or maybe shea butter, which I never have tried. I just don't want it to get to slippery."

Shea butter works really good, i have also used Manteca de corojo, i how clean shea butter is,and just wipe the excess, and it wont be slippery, shea butter i have noticed is a great treatment, there are stongcoconut sented mantecas which are cool.

Mr. Conga wrote:Tonio, thank you for disclosing your recording, set up. I am looking foward to bulding a studio, also.
Any recomendations will be apreciated, i am currently looking for a good set of drum microphones.
I will PM you, my set up will be to MIDI also.

do you have SOS,or other hand made percussions you could run an audio test on?
To compare the sound

Thanks Tonio

Mr Conga,

no problem :D

Sure PM me. There are quite a few considerations as far as mics go. Let me know what you are trying to do, and I can give you some recommendations.

Generally, I do have a MIDI set up , but its only part of the whole set up. I tend to use the DAW in a linear fashion but in a digital manner.
