And my set of Isla's. I added a second conga this year and Mario did a great job of matching the color. Especially, since the first two drums, California banned use of polyurethane, so the third drum has a different protective coat. And I should mention, Mario does not use pre mixed stains... so every color is custom and unique. For this reason, if you are going to get a color.... order all the drums at once. Still a pure joy to play...

Hey Jim .
Your congas inspired me to get the same appearance , but mine are walnut colour . those babies look great . I am close on 300 hours playtime with mine , and I tell you these Congas have a voice . pleasure to play .

Hey everyone I'm new here but thought I would post a photo of a some of my drums, The quinto is a old Gon Bops, Mahogany Junior also old, Matt Smith Ritmo, couple of old oak Gon Bops. The other drums are LP's, Toca, more Gon Bops, also a Brazilian Atabaque drum by Gope.

With all the beautiful drums on this thread I just had to post a few pix of my beaters, the only drums I have and can afford. El cheapo Ardientes from SamAss (quinto and conga) and an original Palisades Park glass tumba. All with Isaacs mules. They ain't pretty,but they're mine and I play them every day.

Thanks Martin. So there you have my mutts. They won't win any beauty contest and if they were ever in the same room with some Volcanics they would suffer erectile dysfunction, but I love them. And they love me back.
