Need Help With Shell Damage

This is after I plugged the hole, sanded, and stained using a Walnut Watco Danish Oil:



And the finished product with the new badge and cleaned up hardware:

That danish oil blended in a lot of the scratches and scuffs... it looks great!

Looks great. I'm becoming a big fan of danish oil myself.

Thanks guys, yeah I was very impressed with the danish oil. I noticed several members have been using it for refinishes, and I can see why. It couldn't be any easier to apply and I had no problems getting an even streak free finish. It really enhances the beautiful grain on these drums.
