LOL, I guess I didn't realize how that might have sounded to you. I guess my point was that, when I finally do get some of the real nice, EXPENSIVE conga's, I will not want to put all my mileage on those, and so I will keep another set of conga's for taking the brunt of practice, knocking around, etc. Since I do not keep junk equipment at all, then conga's cheaper than the Gio's are going to be out of the question. I'll probably just keep my Gio's for much of the rough practice work, and use the nice expensive conga's for rehearsal, performance, and recording.
