Hi Tone,
I have great memories of my trips there too. I studied in a village on the outskirts of Accra in a place called Nungua. Ghana is certainly an amazing country and people. I visited Kokrobite (run by Mustapha Tettey Addy).

So tell us a bit more about the kpanlogo and how it compares to congas.
Do you own a set?

Hi Tone,
I first posted it in 'Open Discussion'. I thought it had disappeared too, but found it had been moved by the moderator to 'Other Instruments'.
It is titled, 'Kpanlogo drums Ghana, from the land of rhythm'.

cheers
