Steel Pulse is one of the Britain's generated bands from Jamaica's decendants.Jamaica's music is structure like, Socka,...Raggae(one drop and two drop),..and Dance Hall. For Socka(a caballo) could be the conga pattern, for Raggae, almost like a Son, for Dance Hall, basic tumbao could be used.It is amasing with the proximity of Jamaica to Cuba, there is not familiarity with basic pattern.(that from the recording I have listened).
