Just something nice - Jansa rhythm

Hi there
Well , the following rhythm , Jansa, is originally played by the Dun Dun drums . It comes from Mali (I think) , and I made a "transposition" to two congas . Enjoy :

I hope it's clear . The first line is the time , the second is the quinto , the third is the conga/tumba and the last is the hands .
* The first two slaps may be replaced by a two-slap flam .

I learned the djembe counterpart to your rhythm. I like how you took the dundun part and put it to congas!
FYI: my printout for this one says it is from the Kayes and Kita region of Mali.

here is some more info on Djansa:

NAME: Djansa (Dansa, Diansa, Jansa, Danca, Danza)

ETHNIC GROUP: Kasonké (Xasonké)

COUNTRY: Mali, Kayes and Kita regions

COMMENTS: Djansa is a non-religious circle dance that was performed by rival young men. They sometimes used pestles and rifles to show their rivalry.
Djansa became a very popular rhythm play for any occasion in the evening or at night.
Djansa can be heard now in most of the West African countries and is sometimes played with Kuku and Zaouli.

There are many versions of this great rhythm.

This version has a great melody generated by the three Dununs and the bells. It has an amazing feeling in the second bar.
