Music - what would you recommend?

Hi!

These days I'm listening to a lot of Tito Puente’s studio recordings from the 50's and the 60's, and I really dig his sound with quite heavy brass, outstanding percussion section, good singers and, on top of that, even an over all good sound mix on the records.

Can someone recommend me some other classic 50's - 60's - 70's artists/bands that I simply must check out.
