Music notation software for Mac

Let's talk about what can be found around that worth having..

Not sure if it fits in this forum topic, but it seemed the most likely.

Can anyone suggest good music notation software for the Mac? Preferably something that won't cost an arm and a leg. It doesn't need to be extravagant: I won't be writing a symphony, just percussion charts mostly.

Here is a site that I visit often, if you check it out, there are some "free" downloads which are for the most part "beta" versions of software. The manufacturer offers free demos of the software to entice us to purchase other products. Sometimes however, the beta versions are good enough to get us going. Hope you find this helpful mi pana!
