Description
From Puerto Rico, is a folkloric for which contains different styles. Traditionally played on Bombas - similar to congas but shorter. Patterns for conga and tumba, quinto is usually soloing. Easy adaptable to modern music.
Ritmo originario di Puerto Rico, è associato alla musica rurale. Come il guaguanco va eseguito con tre tamburi: il quinto si usa come solista e la conga e la tumba con le figurazioni ritmiche di base. Anche questo ritmo è derivato dalla musica africana e può essere facilmente adattato alla musica moderna.
